I just found this interesting website featuring photos by Steve Gottlieb from his book "Abandoned America". As the title of the book implies, these are photos of abandoned objects, structures and antiques. Gottlieb takes photography a step further by describing the subject in detail and the story behind it. The site also has tips on how to capture the mystery of abandoned objects with your camera.
Gottlieb just gave me a new perspective on taking photos and will give his tips a shot.

Sometimes I have to just take off my shoes and let my feet dangle in the water. No matter what time of year it is, or who is taking a bath at the time.

We're at a loss? Constantly in cahoots with Society's rudimentary Materialistic ways, corrupted by a flurry of Ciggerettes and mindfucking Novels. Atleast i'm not running out of fuel...

A good painting makes people say yes thats nice. A great painting makes the person see what that artist sees, hear what that artist hears and, feel what that artist feels.
